LoaChan was born on February 21, 2021, a beautiful yellow color. He has an awesome lineage that can be traced back to the UK. His sire is Taylor Hawk Ginger #51622 and his dam is RLE Garlina Wood #51544. We had our first calf, a heifer, born on December 21, 2022. The following year 2023 he gave us four heifers and one bull calf. In 2024 he gave us another four heifers and one bull calf. All the calves have turned out beautifully.

Malcom started out a light red color as a young calf and has since lightened up into a yellow showing some summer coat brindle streaks and dark skin pigment. His genetic color combination tends to throw offspring more like a silver than a typical yellow; that combined with his incredible build, temperament, and pedigree tracing back to National grand champion DH Excitement makes him an excellent addition to our offered AI line up.

Montgomery is a beautiful silver Highland bull. He was born Oct. 11, 2019 and always has had a smaller Highland heritage frame. His bloodlines on his sire's side come from Drover Hill, NY, who no longer raises Highlands, and from EZ Acres, OH, who passed away after raising excellent Highlands for years. Both his sire and Grand sire were dun colored. His dam has mostly MI bloodlines from LEA and Osceola farms. Both dam and Grand dam were red in color.

Having a smaller frame and shorter legs makes him very attractive for anyone wanting smaller framed Highland animals. He is producing nice small offspring.

Baron is one of the last sons of Skye High Koal and a grandson of Spring Flight Connecticut Yankee. Physically he is everything I was hoping for from him. He is the dark mahogany with frosting from his Dam and Grandsire. He will have a small number of females this year including a commercial cow, to see if he can carry on his genetics to the next level.

Brogan was born on a very cold March 17, 2015 . The minute he stood up on his wobbly legs, I knew he was going to be special and carry on his sire's name and genetics: Spring Flight Connecticut Yankee (D). He was the first bull calf that his dam: LEA Bancroft (D) ever had and Yankee's last calf. I was also realistic in knowing if he didn't continue to grow well, then he wouldn't carry on his parent's genetics. My goal with our breeding program is to produce offspring better than their parent's and Brogan has exceeded them.

We are very excited to have Xtreme join Almosta Farm. His genetics speak for themselves with his sire: HSC Steel Reserve and dam: RTH Xena. He has a great foot and leg under him, structurally correct and well muscled. But most of all a great disposition that I am sure will be passed on. He will have his first breeding season this year consisting of 5 females.

We are so honored to have had Koal for 10 years and the journey that he took Almosta Farm on is beyond words. He maintained his disposition and was so consistent on the quality of his offspring whether they were purebred or crossbred calves. Koal's offspring have also done well in the show ring. With that being said, Almosta Farm and Maple Hill Highlands from Stanwood, MI reached an agreement to have him move on to Maple Hill. He is thriving in his new home and his new fold of females
